Two things to know first.
  • The model is downloaded once: about 5.9 GB, kept in this browser's storage, and it needs ~8–10 GB of GPU memory.
  • Other people's prompts run on your machine. They are never stored, but they pass through your browser.
What else?
  • Up to ~10 GB of extra system RAM is used while the model is loaded.
  • Your browser is speed-tested first. Below 10 tokens/s you can still chat, but the swarm will not send you anyone else's work.
  • Nothing else leaves this page: no files, no screen, no other tabs.
